Flute Masterclass and visit at the High School DMBUC ” Ilija Nikolovski – Luj”, Skopje North Macedonia
Flute students of the Koper Artistic Gymnasium – Music department, participated in a guest visit as part of the Erasmus+ Short-term Mobility AME Polyhymnia program from Wednesday, April 5 to Saturday, April 8, 2023, organized by the “Association of Music Pedagogues Polyhymnia Skopje”. Collaboration with students of the DMBUC High School of Music “Ilija Nikolovski-Luj” Skopje (North Macedonia), has begun in Koper in October 2022.
Activity: daily individual lessons, rehearsals with the local accompanist and playing in chamber music – flute ensemble led by Prof. Alenka Zupan. After intensive educational and at the same time relaxing days, at the end of the visit, all the young flautists presented themselves at a Concert on Saturday, April 8, 2023. They performed in the beautiful hall of the “North Macedonia Struggle” Museum in Skopje with a solo program, flute trio, and in a joint flute ensemble with young North Macedonian flautists.
